TSB appoints Zahra Bahrololoumi, CEO of Salesforce UK and Ahmed Essam, CEO of Vodafone UK, to the TSB Board
Both appointees bring valuable leadership experience and extensive knowledge of digital, transformation and customer innovation to the TSB Board, which will help steer the bank’s growth strategy.
- Zahra Bahrololoumi is the Chief Executive Officer for Salesforce in UK and Ireland. Prior to this, Zahra spent over 22 years at Accenture in a number of senior executive roles helping grow the business across key regions and industries.
- Ahmed Essam is the Chief Executive Officer for Vodafone UK and has held a range of commercial and executive roles since joining Vodafone in 1999 – with a proven track record of implementing and executing customer-centric strategies.
TSB’s Chair, Nick Prettejohn, said:

Zahra Bahrololoumi biography
Zahra has over 25 years’ experience in technology and consulting and was appointed Chief Executive Officer for Salesforce in UK and Ireland in 2021. Prior to that Zahra held a number of senior executive roles at Accenture where she worked for over 22 years.
Zahra currently sits on the Boards of Cancer Research Corporate Partnerships; Movement to Work; Boycott your Bed supporting Action for Children and techUK. Previous Board-level roles include Accenture and the Prince’s Trust Technology Leadership Board.
She graduated from Brunel University with a degree in Management Science.
Ahmed Essam biography
Ahmed has over 20 years’ experience at Vodafone, where he is the Chief Executive Officer for Vodafone UK. He has held a range of commercial and executive roles at Vodafone including Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer and CEO of Europe cluster and CEO of Vodafone Egypt.
Ahmed graduated from Cairo University with a degree in Systems and Biomedical Engineering.
