You can view your mortgage account and get your up-to-date balance through Internet Banking and our mobile banking app.

You may have the option to choose when your new product transfer rate starts. You can choose to start it up to three months' ahead of when your fixed rate ends. Then your new rate will take effect on the first of the month you've chosen. For example: If you apply on 9th May, you can select a start date of 1st June, 1st July or 1st August.

However, please note that if you apply after 23rd of the month you are unable to select the 1st of the following month but can select 1st of the subsequent 3 months.  For example:  If you apply on 27th May, you can select 1st July, 1st August or 1st September.

If you’re looking to borrow more, we have two ranges of additional borrowing products. Our team of expert Mortgage Advisers will be happy to help.

If you are looking to make any of these energy-efficiency home improvements then we have a green additional borrowing product range to help.

  • Renewable energy, e.g. solar panels
  • Heating upgrades (new boiler, radiators, under-floor heating)

To benefit from the green additional borrowing product rates, the total additional borrowing must be at least £10,000, of which the green additional borrowing must be at least £1,000. We’ll ask you for a quote from your supplier to confirm the green home improvements.

The green additional borrowing rates will apply to the green additional borrowing only. Standard additional borrowing rates will apply for any other additional borrowing.
