Help if you have a mental health condition

Many of us will experience a mental health issue during our lives. And we know it can make it hard to focus on financial matters properly. So please let us know if you’re struggling. It’ll be in total confidence, and we can work out how to support you best.

Giving you space to think

If you’re in branch, let staff know so they can:

  • Give you a private room to think in
  • Lend you a helping hand
  • Give you more time to make decisions
  • Give you longer appointments so you have more time
  • Give you documents to take home and read

Giving you less to remember

If PINs or passwords are difficult to remember, these things might help.

  • Pay with contactless cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay in just a couple of taps
  • Use Fingerprint or FaceID to log in more easily to our app. You set these up in the app
